AI Agents
AI Agents help you automate work across your GoodHelp workspace. You can create agents for specific tasks, configure their behavior, and manage them from a central list.
Use this page to understand how agents work, where to find them, and how to set them up for your team.
View your agents
The Agents page shows all agents available in your workspace. From here, you can review agent names, status, and access each agent’s configuration.
Create or open an agent
You can create a new agent or open an existing one from the Agents page. Once opened, you can adjust its instructions, settings, and other configuration options.
- Go to Agents in the GoodHelp navigation.
- Review the list of available agents in your workspace.
- Select an existing agent to open its settings, or choose the option to create a new agent.
- Update the agent configuration based on the task you want it to perform.
- Save your changes.
Configure an agent
Each agent includes a configuration screen where you define how it should behave. This is where you tailor the agent to your workflow and business needs.
Depending on your workspace setup, agent configuration may include instructions, goals, permissions, and connected tools. These settings determine what the agent can do and how it responds.
Best practices
Define a clear purpose
Give each agent a single, well-defined job. This makes it easier to configure the agent correctly and evaluate its results.
Review settings before saving
Before you save an agent, check that its instructions and permissions match your intended use. Small configuration changes can affect how the agent behaves.
Keep your agents organized
Regularly review your agent list and update names or settings as your workflows change. A clean agent library helps your team work more efficiently.
Manage agents effectively
As your use of AI Agents grows, it helps to standardize how your team creates and maintains them. Consistent naming, ownership, and review processes reduce confusion and improve reliability.
- Name each agent based on its specific task or department.
- Assign internal ownership so someone is responsible for updates and quality checks.
- Test the agent after major configuration changes.
- Review older agents regularly and archive or update any that are no longer needed.
